Session non-attendance and late cancellations
Please note that not attending a scheduled session still results in the full fee being payable. This needs to be paid before your next appointment, to maintain the next scheduled appointment. No further appointments can be booked until this fee is paid.
If you cancel an appointment at late notice (i.e., less than 48 hours’ notice), then a 50% cancellation fee will apply. This fee needs to be paid promptly, to maintain your next scheduled appointment and to be able to book more appointments.
a. No GP referral is required to access Medicare rebates under the Bushfire Recovery Access Program. These sessions are available to people who have been affected by the recent bushfires.
b. GPs can refer eligible women for counselling regarding a current or recent pregnancy. This service is available for any concerns such as decisions about the pregnancy or future, general pregnancy issues, postpartum adjustment, or coming to terms with unexpected outcomes. Three sessions are available per person, per pregnancy. GP referral involves a signed and dated letter or note to the psychologist.
